Our client in the FMCG sector is looking for an GIS Intern to join their dynamic team based in Sandton. The ideal candidate should have some exposure in:

• Solid grasp of spatial analysis, Site Analysis, qualitative analysis and research.
• Some exposure to database management, dash boarding and BI (Business Intelligence System)
• Using the GeoBreis Tool, various published reports and strategic municipal development plans to do groundwork on specific trade areas for the new and existing sites.
• Travelling, where necessary, to selected sites to do in-loco verification exercises.
• Compiling draft reports on economic viability of new and existing trade areas, as well as sales projections for new sites.
• Providing support to Real Estate Specialists in researching economic model and economic viability of retail nodes.

The role requires individuals with robust background in Spatial Analysis, GIS, and Analytics. Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning, be patient and eager to share knowledge. The work environment is fast-paced, diverse, and dynamic.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 0-1 year
• Qualification in GIS/Data Science.
