Manager Electrical & Instrumentation

Location: Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RF) (Pty) Ltd in Potchefstroom

Schedule Type: Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent Position

Description: The Manager Electrical & Instrumentation will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation department, ensuring work is conducted timely and meets standards and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance and support, compiling work schedules, attending meetings, supervising technicians, verifying drawings, inspecting installations, compiling budgets, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and assisting with plant installations and commissioning.

Qualifications:

• National Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or N6 Technical Diploma or Trade Test in Electrical/Instrumentation
• Eng. /BTech Electrical Degree advantageous
• Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing environment advantageous
• Knowledge of electrical installations requirements and regulations in explosive environments
• Knowledge in PLC programming advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Projects
