Job Title: High School Maths Tutor

Location: George, Western Cape

Schedule: 2 days per week, 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Are you passionate about mathematics and enjoy helping students excel in their studies? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Maths Tutor who is comfortable with the Cambridge curriculum to join our team in George, Western Cape. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and academic growth of high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for high school students in mathematics, specifically tailored to the Cambridge curriculum.
• Develop and implement individualized tutoring plans based on students' specific needs and the Cambridge curriculum.
• Provide explanations and guidance on mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and test preparation within the framework of the Cambridge curriculum.
• Monitor and track the progress of students to ensure academic improvement.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in high school-level mathematics and familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
• Patience and empathy to work with students of varying abilities.
• Dependable and punctual.

Schedule:

This part-time position requires the tutor to be available for two days per week from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The specific days can be discussed and agreed upon.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position is R2000 per month.
