KONE Middle East Turkey & Africa is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Repair Tendering Administrator to be based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Repair Tendering Administrator is the voice of KONE, focusing on multiple aspects of support in the business. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for salespersons and supervisors, enabling them to maximize the time spent on customer-facing activities in the field. The administrative support covers activities related to Maintenance Operations, Sales Support, Public Tender Preparation, Third Party Inspection, and Reporting.

What will you do?

  • Agile support for New Equipment Business, Service Equipment Business & Modernization Business Sales activities.
  • Support customer communication and support for maintenance contracts both in preparation, renewal, and cancellation.
  • General administration supports and controls safety and site access documents of site personnel as requested by site managers and ensures that data is collected, delivered, and input.
  • Full business support with specific tasks not limited to scheduling plans and updating maintenance plans.
  • Take full ownership of customer queries forwarded from the first level and follow up with the field operations team to get a response.
  • Support technicians and supervisors in material-related requests (PR creation, check availability, and follow up on delivery).
  • Validation of repair sales leads and any missing information with the help of the maintenance team and/or Technical Helpdesk.
  • Proactively assist with and explain the tender document content and value to customers.
  • Point of contact for customer questions about the tender content, price level, discounts, and scheduling.
  • Manage the repair sales funnel and conduct reviews on targets in the sales funnel to make sure we reach our repair business target.

Are you the one?

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on administration tasks.
  • A diploma or higher in Business/Finance will be advantageous.
  • Ability to handle and meet multiple deadlines and coordinate priorities accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills – able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) with SAP and CRM experience advantageous.
  • Excellent English language skills both spoken and written.
